Description

The historical Buddha Siddhartha Gautama was born between 563 BCE and 463 BCE, to the Shakya clan in the Mithila Kingdom (now in Nepal). Thus he is known as the Shakyamuni, lit. The sage of the Shakya clan. He is also referred to as the lion of the Sakya clan. He attained Bodhi, or knowledge, after six years of fasting and meditation, and then he was called Buddha, the Enlightened One.

Description

The Goddess Parvati wanted a bath and created Ganesh out of sandalwood to guard the door. When Lord Shiva returning from battle, the boy stopped him from entering. Shiva, enraged by Ganeshs impudence, cut the boys head off with his trident. Parvati was furious so Shiva replaced the head with the first child he found.

We are a small coop established in June 2009, our common aims are

To built a reputation of providing quality ornaments, figurines, bust, sculptures or as we consistantly call them in the shop catalogue statues.

What the statue is made from. Brass, resin, etc
The size of the statue in centimeters (1 foot = 30.48 centimeters)
